Javna rasvjeta u gradu je u veoma lošem stanju što ugrožava sigurnost pješaka. Projekat rekonstrukcije, ako se ne varam, počeo je prije dvije godine skidanjem oštećenih stubova. Do danas problem rasvjete nije rješen.
Kada će biti okončan projekat rekonstrukcije?

Projekat rekonstrukcje javne rasvjete Sjeverne i Južne saobraćajnice je poćeo prije dvije godine. Prva faza je obuhvatila zamjenu podzemnih instalacija, i mehaničku zaštitu mjesta gdje nedostaju stubovi javne rasvjete. Sljedeća faza obuhvata nabavku i montažu stubova sa rasvjetnim tijelima i zbog velikog broja izvodit će se u više faza.
Projekat je u toku i realizuje se u skladu sa planiranim budžetskim sredstvima.
